App updates

Wizzo checks this site for new releases. With Check on launch on (Setup › App › Updates), it checks at most every 6 hours, and a dot on SETUP shows when a newer version is out. Check now checks straight away.

To update, tap Install. Wizzo:

1. downloads the new APK;
2. checks its SHA-256 matches the release, and that it’s signed with the same key as the installed app;
3. hands it to Android, which asks you to confirm.

The first time, Android also asks you to allow Wizzo to install apps. Tap Allow installs, switch it on, come back and tap Install again.

Your settings, cached maps and terrain data are kept across updates.
